Description
28 cooperatives come togetherto form the Yirgacheffe CoffeeFarmers’ Coopertives Union (YCFCU). Over 45,094 farmers are supported by this Union which helps them directly connect to their customers and yield a higher profit on their green coffee than if they were to take it to the central market. Grown in some of the highest elevations in the country, this particular green coffee bean comes from the Halo Bariti Cooperative and goes through processed natural, drying on raised beds to absorb the fruit mucilage of the coffee cherries.
What we love about this coffee?
We love the aroma of sweet, juicy fruit with a tea-like delicate backbone that allows notes of mango and caramel to shine!
